So, a lot has happened since that last post!
First, I went on a few trips (Lousiana, Galveston, Austin). Fun times and busy weekends! I went to see my Great Uncle Readus, who is the coolest man ever, in Lousiana! Health wise he isn't at his best and we try to go see him every summer. I, as always, enjoyed the trip. We didn't do too much, but my aunt Mary is amazing in the kitchen so, we ate very well. We went shopping and just enjoyed each other's company. I love them!
The next weekend, my mom, Suzanne and I went to visit Jessica in Galveston. We had a blast together shopping, beaching it up, becoming "real" tourists, and eating good food of course. I really wish we could do this trip more and add the Klempnauer/Broaddus clan, but my school might stop that idea.
After that I went to Austin to visit the boy. I hadn't seen him in about 2 weeks, I think, and it was so good to see him! It was like we didn't know what to do when we saw each other so, we hugged for awhile! We had a wonderful time just being together. We also went downtown to eat and did a little shopping for his apt. We since have seen each other every weekend following, but that has quickly come to an end because...
Lastly, I moved to Dallas to start my new life adventure. I have always wanted to be a nurse, but I have taken the longer route to get there. I will be attending Baylor University nursing school as of Monday! I have mixed emotions about it for sure! I am so excited and feel completely blessed to be where I am now! I am also nervous and not sure what to expect! I want to make good grades and I really want these 4 semesters to fly by! And I selfishly wish I could be in the same town as the bf!
And for a lil update....I am still in love with the same guy that was mentioned in the last post which, was depressing. Things are better, much, much better! Long distance sucks, don't get my wrong, but I think we can do it! Good news on that...we are only about 3 hours away, which is closer than we thought! I am dying to see him again, but we don't know when that will be! Sad day, I know!
Now the new Dallas life has started off well, I would say! (Minus the fleas in the apt when we moved in! ) I have gotten my apt almost put comepletely together. I just need to get things on the walls, unpack one box, and get pictures in my frames!!! So, not soo bad! I had dinner twice at my sister's house, haha! Loving that for sure!
Anyways, enough for now! I miss everyone who is not here!!
